A group of poets choose one book a week and discuss their favorite poems from it, and who they would recommend the book to. The focus is on recent collections by poets who are or were alive during the twenty-first century.
For National Poety Month 2024, we'll be doing a podcast a day. We won't be discussing the author's life, fashion choices, or whether or not they filed their taxes on time. This is just about the poems we love that we hope more people will read. We're also not going to go into deep analysis of any work just what we enjoy about the poems.
Constant host, Adam Stone, is a pop culture librarian who spent twenty-five years in the National Poetry Slam scene.
