In this episode of Standard Procedure, I address the question....

Where Can I Find Time To Create Standard Operating Procedures?

It's a question I often get asked while speaking to business owners about the benefits of having Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in place."I'm already overwhelmed and I've got a lot going on...."You're spinning a lot of plates. You're juggling a lot of balls, and all the other analogies you want to use. Then someone like me comes along and says...."You should develop some systems and processes to help free up some time, so that you're not so busy spinning all those plates."imageI get it. I know you're already busy. So when you ask....."how can you ask me to develop standard procedures when I'm already time poor?

Where am I going to find the time to create Standard Procedures?"

It's a valid response. I'm sensitive and I'm empathetic. I know what it's like, because I've been there myself, and I've felt the pain. I know what it's like to be overwhelmed, to be spinning all those plates.I know what it's like to be working until the really hours of the morning, then waking up feeling groggy because you've been up late. Then the impact that has on your well-being and your mind state..... I know what it's like.Consider this.... Think about your business operations.....All those plates you're spinning. All those balls you're juggling. All the late nights and early mornings. The 12, 15, 18 hour days running your business...
My question to you is......How long do you think you can sustain that for? If you continue to run your business as you're currently running it, how much fuel have you got left in the tank? If you're really that time poor, then creating your standard operating procedures should be made a priority. From The Podcast

The show where business owners and entrepreneurs can find practical and actionable information, inspiration, insights, to help you develop systems, processes and strategies to reduce your workload, be more productive and gain more free and flexible time to do the things you want to do. Let me help you to systemise your business, reducing your workload and increasing your productivity. Giving you more free and flexible time to do the things you enjoy most. If you've been running your own business for a few years now, and you have a family and children, then what I'm about to share on this page will probably relate to you. You've worked extremely hard to build your business to the point at where it is today. In the process of building your business you've had to make many sacrifices along the way. Unfortunately, in many cases, the biggest sacrifice made is quality time spent regularly with your family. I know this, because I've done this myself. Working hard to build and grow my business, and neglecting to spend regular quality time with my family. But I've since changed all that, and have now systemised my business so it works for me. Which allows me to have that valuable time back, and I can spend that time doing the things I enjoy the most with the ones I love the most. This podcast is a mix bag of information to equip you with the what, why's and how's you need to systemise your business and make it work for you, rather than you working for your business. A growing collection of inspiration, teaching and training to equip you with everything you need to design and implement the systems you need to make your business run successfully without you needing to do all the hard work yourself. As the saying goes - "Working Smarter - Not Harder."
