In this episode of Standard Procedure, I address the question....
Where Can I Find Time To Create Standard Operating Procedures?
It's a question I often get asked while speaking to business owners about the benefits of having Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in place."I'm already overwhelmed and I've got a lot going on...."You're spinning a lot of plates. You're juggling a lot of balls, and all the other analogies you want to use. Then someone like me comes along and says...."You should develop some systems and processes to help free up some time, so that you're not so busy spinning all those plates."

I get it. I know you're already busy. So when you ask....."how can you ask me to develop standard procedures when I'm already time poor?
Where am I going to find the time to create Standard Procedures?"
It's a valid response. I'm sensitive and I'm empathetic. I know what it's like, because I've been there myself, and I've felt the pain. I know what it's like to be overwhelmed, to be spinning all those plates.I know what it's like to be working until the really hours of the morning, then waking up feeling groggy because you've been up late. Then the impact that has on your well-being and your mind state..... I know what it's like.Consider this.... Think about your business operations.....All those plates you're spinning. All those balls you're juggling. All the late nights and early mornings. The 12, 15, 18 hour days running your business...
My question to you is......How long do you think you can sustain that for? If you continue to run your business as you're currently running it, how much fuel have you got left in the tank? If you're really that time poor, then creating your standard operating procedures should be made a priority. Links & Mentions From This Episode:My New Book:
