Im often asked about the use of the Maximal Effort Method, and more specifically Sumo Stance, and Ultra Wide Box Squatting for our Population of Baseball and Softball Athletes... The Reality is People are having trouble disconnecting the concept of throwing a baseball and separating the human body from the earth to create force in the direction in which we are trying to throw the object.

In this episode I'm going to discuss why you must not think of throwing a baseball or swinging a bat when developing the necessary force required to throw or swing at high speeds... You must in fact first, look on a broader scale at the directions of force the athlete is required to produce to enable the release of the omplement or transfer power through the implement, and then secondly look deeper then the act of throwing to analyze the angles of the joints involved within the production of said direction of force...
