In this episode I talk to Riaan Louw who is head of unfunded wholesale trade finance at Absa Group in South Africa. At the forefront of trade finance digitization in Africa, Absa has recently deployed Surecomp’s back-office solution across its ten continental subsidiaries, a feat of which Riaan is very proud. In life beyond the bank, he embraces family life and those quiet moments in the South African wilderness.
