Why is an otherwise progressive nation like ours lagging in this area? What are the implications of this cultural issue for those trying to improve gender diversity in their organisations? Are quotas or enforceable targets the only way we will really achieve widespread change? How do we entrench this as an issue for all of us, not just for women? Do our leading businesses need to move towards a more collaborative way of doing business to ensure women join and stay? This dialogue will draw on the experience of leaders who have been successful in achieving greater gender diversity in workplaces and organisations. By hearing about their goals, strategies, achievements (and failures), the dialogue will provide meaningful case studies for leaders in other businesses and organisations. Recorded 18 June 2015.
