War! What is it good for? More than we might give it credit for. Is the peace and prosperity of the 21st century the legacy of thousands of years of war? By employing "peace enforcement" in places like Africa and the Middle East, are we denying burgeoning nation states the opportunity to settle fundamental questions of identity?
