Summary: Shan is a self taught editor that that started by deciding to make himself indispensable to the production people he was working with.  Starting out in Memphis TN as a production assistant, he now works as a free lance Video Editor in the Las Angeles area.  Some (but not all) of the networks he has worked with include: Food Network, Discovery, Travel, and Science channels.  Accomplishments include taking part in a production that won an EMMY in 2013 for “Best Thing I Ever Made” in the Outstanding Culinary Program category.   I’m sure you will enjoy Shan’s insight into the production/editing world that helps make up what we watch on television (and I’m not just saying that because he is my son).
