After going to school for Political Science Amy Schmittauer thought she wanted to go into campaign fundraising. Amy worked for some the best fundraisers in the state of Ohio, but after many more successful events in her life, Amy discovered her real passion in new media. Her career in social media began with freelance community management for small businesses and individuals who needed help getting their start with an online presence. These practices quickly grew into strategy consulting opportunities that included teaching owners and employees how to properly execute a marketing strategy through social media by engaging an audience instead of pushing sales.
