Storms cause us to move off-course – Storms can interrupt, delay, or completely shift our day, week, or life. Storms look bigger than our God. 

 Storms cause us to see what’s important – The storm of disease causes us to see that without health, we can’t do much. The crew began throwing stuff overboard when the Apostle Paul was in a storm. Storms may help us decide what’s most important. 

Storms cause us to desire to quit – Storms can be exasperating and steal our faith to go forward.  

Storms help us build resiliency. 

Become like a Palm Tree 

·      Palm Trees are designed for storms, and so are we. 

·      The strength of the Palm Tree is from the roots. 

·      Are you rooted in God with the strength to bend in the storm?

·      We must learn to be flexible, durable, and bendable. 

Blessed are the flexible, for they shall bend and not break.
