Special Agent Anton talks about the application of RICO in matters of public corruption and civil rights. In this presentation, the State of Nevada is used as an example of criminal violations of federal law.
The purpose of this presentation is too educate students how to use "under color of law" violations, such as "18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law," in public corruption cases, and using such as a basis in drafting a RICO (Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act of 1970) criminal or civil complaint.
