In this episode, Malia and Bianca wanted to have the conversation about something that is a real issue amongst our three enthnogeographic groupings in the Pacific Islands. To some, it’s a heavy topic and close to home. To others, it will be a new insight. These girls aren’t ignorant to the colourism and the exclusivity of our interactions at times as people groups. As young Melanesian and Polynesian women, they wanted to have a chat about how they have navigated these issues with as much laughter, honesty, confession and love as possible. They talk unity, avoiding the sun, colourism, inclusivity, the term “plastic” and so much more! So buckle up and be prepared to extend that table at the end of this one!
