When a global pandemic forces us to pivot our businesses and our ideas of life as we once knew it; we call on our creativity to twirl instead of simply being spun. Learn how KC re-imagined her annual summit Tahoe Spark online to continue to cultivate community, foster relationships, and experience energy healing in a virtual setting.  She was able to master Zoom and all its capabilities and limits in under 3 weeks, completely re-imagine the event including major changes with her speaker line-up, AND retain 99% attendance turning an in-person event into a virtual and literal success during the early days of social distancing and COVID-19. Our hope is that this example can help you harness the tenacity you have within during these uncertain times for your business while showing yourself some much needed grace.

From The Podcast

The Woo Latte: One part Woo-Woo; One part WOO! Girl. KC Kent, AKA The Apothecary of Light, is a PhD Geneticist, Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher, Outdoor Enthusiast blending her Western mind and Eastern soul. She provides the Woo-Woo!  Jessica Brustad, AKA The Funny Yogi, is a Motivational Speaker, Laughter Yoga Leader, Yoga Teacher, Improviser & Stand Up Comedian.  She brings the WOO in Woo Girl! These two “Soulpreneurs” (shh don’t let them know they didn’t create this word) are here to share their journeys of trying to make it as Small Business Owners.  They get together each “Freelancer Friday” as Accountabilibuddies to help support each other and their new businesses and feel called to share the raw, vulnerable, unedited and sometimes plain ugly side of becoming your brand with you (others who might also need an Accountability Partner). Sharing quotes, wisdom from mentors, support group insights, female entrepreneur group enlightenments, and their own revelations along the way!  Their hope is this podcast will help illuminate the path for other female entrepreneurs on any leg of the journey, whether it be simply cathartic, inspiring, comedic, or helpful! They don’t claim to know ANY of the answers, but they do promise to help you celebrate the wins, acknowledge the losses, learn from the mistakes, and most importantly keep it motivating and fun during the times when running your small business can seem anything but!  (Oh and if that weren’t enough – you will even learn their weekly Latte order!) Join these 2 Woo Girls every Friday for a new episode to kick off your Freelancer Friday on the right foot!
