Yoo Young-Chul is a South Korean rapist, murderer and cannibal. From September of 2003 to July of 2004, Yoo Young Chul murdered 21 people. This shocked the country as Korea has an extremely low level of violent crimes. He confessed to murdering 21 after he was caught, but was only charged with 20 murders as one was let off on a technicality.

The 2008 Korean film The Chaser (추격자) is loosely based on Yoo Young-Chul.
