After studying Economics at Cambridge, Tom entered the world of Business Consultancy holding the positions of Financial Analyst at Three and Senior Analyst at Warner Bros, among others. Also at this time he managed his friend’s Band, playing at venues all over the UK. The band performed at several music festivals, including the 2003 and 2006 Big Chill festivals, and the 2004 Dour Festival in Belgium. Next he moved into the Online Casino Industry at Inspired Broadcast Networks where he devised the strategy to transform the Bingo and Casino industry with networked electronic gaming terminals, later becoming the Casino Business Manager.

After a year and 8 months, he was promoted to Head of Gaming Products at Inspired Gaming Group, a position he held for one and a half years before leaving to start his own fashion-tech company Metail. Metail made clothing fit for all by digitising every garment for every body to try on, through a mix of the development and combination of technologies from AI and computer vision to physics modelling. Metail raised over $32m, had global clients from Puma to Lidl and was acquired by clothing manufacturing giant TAL, who produce one in six men's dress-shirts in the US, in July 2019. Since then, Tom has been looking for his next big thing, while dedicating his time to his family and philanthropic ventures.
