Kids want to be remembered 💜 That’s often the very reason they walk into places and shoot. Or they leave notes when they take their lives. “Do this in remembrance of me” “Jesus, remember me, when you come into your kingdom." Being remembered or remembering people is compassionate. That’s why we have Veterans Day. And birthdays. And funeral services. Our creator created this desire. It’s not a shameful one. Give kids something to HOPE for. Something to be remembered for. Besides crime or their suicide note. Remind them that their legacy matters. That they can make in impact in this world the way Jesus did💜 This song has a dangerous message. Because kids and adults DO want to be remembered and leave a legacy. And ignoring that is a call to apathy — not to courage. There is work to be done. Jesus life was the example of that. That work is our legacy. Whether it’s feeding our families or the 5k … we will be remembered for it. 💜
