Sometimes, without realizing it, we place obstacles in the path of our own healing. Self-sabotage in grief can show up when you turn down support, avoid talking about your loss, or hide behind distractions that numb the pain.
It’s not about lacking strength—it’s your heart trying to protect itself. But healing is also an act of love toward yourself and the memory of your loved one.
In this episode, I invite you to recognize these patterns and turn them into small acts of self-support, so you can move forward with compassion without feeling you are forgetting the one you love.
Have you ever noticed yourself avoiding something that could help you heal? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear from you.
If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, I invite you to get my book "Allow me to Live my Grief… and Heal From the Inside Out", available on Amazon or at www.ligiahouben.com
