In this episode, Ada Stein talks with Cathrine Hasse, Professor and PhD. in Anthropology and Cultural Learning at the University of Aarhus. Catherine talks about their research which investigates the design process when professionals are designing robots and in which extent they involve users in this process. Often there is a lack of involvement of the affected stakeholders which impairs the quality of the robots. In her view, it’s important to involve both users and ethnographers in the process to get optimal results.
