Show Notes
This week, Fiona is joined by Ellie, Alex, Strat and Matt (of Merely Roleplayers) for 'Babes in the Wood 2nd Edition': A tabletop roleplaying game of kids and critters lost in an endless wood on Halloween night.
Designed and published by Adam Vass, Babes in the Wood is inspired by media such as Over the Garden Wall, Wizard of Oz, Adventure time and more kid friendly media that rings more surreal and eerie when viewed through adult eyes.
Players take on the role of kids, critters, and toys wandering a dark, mysterious, and eternal forest.
Players then help those in need in creative and obscure ways befitting the logic of children, simultaneously exploring and confronting their own feelings and fears.
