In this fifth episode of the Winds of Change podcast Smart Green Shipping's FastRig gets shipped to Barrow and installed on its host vessel Pacific Grebe to be put through its tests in the Irish Sea. Then the vessel sails to Southampton to showcase the technology, showing everyone what modern wind propulsion looks like.

WoC podcast host and leading maritime technology journalist Craig Eason talks to Barbara McIntyre, an engineering expert at Caley Ocean Systems about getting the installation right, to make sure it can withstand what the Britsh weather could throw at ship and rig.

He also meets up with SImon Walley at Argo Engineering Systems while in Southampton to talk about the sea trials, and catches up with Smart Green Shipping owner and driving force for the project Di Gilpin to get her reaction to seeing decades of dreaming and scheming become a reality on a ship's deck.
