Today, I will talk about plot development and how to break it down into more digestible pieces.

Writers and filmmakers tell stories by providing certain types of details at key moments in the plot.  A story's plot is what happens in the story and the order it happens in.

For there to be a story, something has to move, to change. Something goes from point A to point B. As readers and as audience members, we expect these elements to move the plot forward and fit together to tell a story.
