What do you get when you mix Autism Acceptance Month, the Month of the Military Child, and a politician with zero chill? Apparently, my entire April.
In this inaugural not-a-podcast (more on that later), I dive into neurodiversity, military life, and throw some well-earned side-eye at RFK Jr. — who just kept saying things and delaying my launch like a one-man chaos tornado. Every time I thought the episode was finished, he opened his mouth again. Eventually, I had to look myself in the mirror and say, “Enough is enough. Wrap this shit up and share it. We can play ball later.”
So I did. I taught myself to use GarageBand, learned how to publish on Buzzsprout, built a new Instagram account, and then — plot twist — decided I didn’t even want to call it a podcast. This audio is now just the voice-y side of my written blog over at britthaddix.square.site. Think of it as the peanut butter to my blog’s jelly. This episode was a touch more serious than future episodes will be. From now on you can come for the advocacy, stay for the catharsis. It’ll be heartfelt, a little feisty, and definitely held together by caffeine and spite.
