Aesop’s Fables were read to me by my mother when I was young and through this podcast I am reading the fables to my great-grandchildren and any other young children that might enjoy hearing them.  This Fable, Belling the Cat, teaches that it is one thing to say that something should be done,  but quite a different matter to do it.  The link to the actual written fable along with a lovely illustration is at
