Welcome back to Teaching Through a Screen: a three-part series. I’m your host Jessica Huber. I am currently a senior at SUNY Cortland, studying to become a high school English teacher. For those who are new to this podcast series, these three podcasts are about what it’s been like to teach during a pandemic. During this three-part series, I will be interviewing two teachers: Olivia Sutton and Annie Williams, for different perspectives on what it’s like to teach during a pandemic… In today’s interview, Balancing Act: part two, Olivia will be focusing more on the emotional aspects of teaching during a pandemic. Olivia will touch on how the relationships with her students have been affected by the pandemic, how students have been affected by the pandemic, and how her own identity has been affected by teaching during this pandemic.
