Over 25 years ago the band R.E.M released one of their best selling albums, called Automatic for the People. And in recent years, AI and automation have been providing a lot of benefits for regular people and their everyday lives. But now we’re starting to see businesses reap the benefits of automation in increased agility, high productivity and reduced costs. A rock band may not release an album called Automatic for the Businesses, but clearly we are at the beginning of a new age where automation and intelligence are powering digital transformations.
